This study investigates the effects of dictionary and thesaurus use on lexical sophistication variation, two components richness in second language (L2) writing. After writing a take-home essay as part their studies, 27 learners enrolled an English preparatory program at state university Turkey received brief instructions variation. Following instructions, were asked to revise essays by using thesaurus. A comparison revised versions showed that revising with help vocabulary resources led significant increase sophistication. Significant increases also found for measures used except one them. The different results obtained variation will be discussed relation specific characteristics used.

This is an interesting model study of the sensitivity of surface ozone to NOx produced by lightning. The conclusion, that on average the contribution is relatively minor, has policy implications because it implies that the background O3 (which cannot be regulated) is not much enhanced by lightning. The paper is suitable for publication, but could benefit by additional discussion of several topics.
